I forget if this was said on here or not:

Set an ICE (In Case of Emergency) Contact on your phone.

Set your home screen to say "If Found Please Call..." and put the phone number of someone else in your party.

I want to create QR codes business cards, or just QR codes you can scan and be taken to my site and there you will learn where to find me lol

just saw this

(for example)
"You and I remember Budapest very differently."

"I like feet."

"Am I being tangible? ...Gary?"

"How quickly can we buy this building?"

"More drinking. Less feeling."

"Whatever just happened, blame it on the pig."

Guys, if you're wearing a zentai suit, or spandex, or other skin tight outfit, two words:

Dance belt.

It's not too late to order a couple.  ;) ;D

Well I suggest a good workout plan and diet. This is something that should already have been in effect already but it's not too late. No you won't make a total transformation but depending on what shape your in now, it can make a difference no matter what. With just two weeks of good training could cut some pounds, get you in shape for all the walking, dancing, hustle and bustle, and all types of shenanigans at the con. Remember every little bit helps so don't feel like the little effort is worth nothing. Now with a good diet you would even tenfold your efforts, because let's face it most people are not going to eat the healthiest at the con plus people are going to consume plenty of alcohol, and this will help counteract that. So put in the effort, don't put it off, your body will appreciate it.
Don't be afraid to become great.

- If you're magically done with your costumes, have a full dress rehearsal. Assuming you can find it for Prime Shipping on Amazon, it'll give you time to get any last minute needs or replacement parts.

- Walk everywhere, including hills and stairs. Stand at home, maybe for an hour at time. I'm binge-ing through Stranger Things while standing each episode. Only way my poor feet will somewhat be ready for the con.

- Ideally, you kept a packing list from a previous year. Use it again, make additions as you see fit. Don't try to pack everything the night before you depart.

- Withdraw cash from your bank a day or two before con. I wouldn't rely on the ATMs on site to remain full all weekend.

- Don't lose too much sleep. It'll weaken your immune system no matter what magical "boosters" you're taking.

If driving to the con. Get your car checked out. Check you battery, tires, oil, timing belts/chains.

https://mobiloil.com/en/article/travel-and-safety/travel-tips/car-maintenance-checklist-for-road-trips

When going on trips that are 6+ hours long, Murphy's Law comes into full effect when driving. You do not want to be the poor sod that breaks down in the middle of the night out in those long stretches of highway where the nearest anything is 10 miles away.

Flying: Check your tickets and departure times and make sure whatever costumes you plan on taking (or anything for that matter) don't run afoul of TSA rules.

Hotels: Call and confirm your room because you do not want to be blindsided by surprise room cancellations.

Get some light colored clothes to keep the heat off you.

Check all of your device Cables and Chargers.
Get one of those cool battery packs.  a BIG ONE.  DragonCon eats batteries.  I use a Jackery Giant ( https://smile.amazon.com/Jackery-Portable-External-Panasonic-Aluminum/dp/B00AB174ZW/ref=sr_1_sc_2 ) and it does pretty well.
If you're from out of town, CALL YOUR BANK!!! Tell them you will be traveling.  Nothing sucks worse than the bank freezing your card because you're using it far from home.

Only bring 1 or 2 credit cards plus your debit card. Most of the hotel food vendors and vendors in the dealers room take credit cards now, but some are cash only.

Bring your own liquor, beer, wine, or what have you. The hotels and nearby liquor stores are expensive.
There is a nearby CVS that has typical CVS prices.

Check the weather before you leave.  The hotels are typically hot. The basements and smaller rooms however can be chilly  and I usually bring a sweatshirt or light jacket.

And Atlanta frequently has afternoon Thunderstorms and downpours.  I bring a light poncho.  Assuming you leave the core hotels; they are all attached.

AND DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR BLUE POSTCARD IS???

Hehe, I just dug mine out a couple days ago and threw it on my fridge.
Probably next weekend sometime it will go in my wallet.

I might even take a couple pictures of it..., including the barcode piece(which they should be able to scan directly from a cellphone).  *Just in case*

I keep my blue postcard on my fridge from the time I get it for inspiration (to keep working on cosplay).
My husband got a fortune cookie that said 'Speak less of your plans - you will get more of them done' and stuck it over the top of the postcard.
Still not sure if that's encouraging or hinting that I talk a little too much about DCon.  ;)

He just doesn't want you to have more/better cosplays than him.  Keep at em.
