Places To See And Things To Do Offsite

I didn't see anything after a quick glance, but maybe it would be a good idea to suggest some places to grab a bite or see sites if you want to get away from the busy parts of the convention.

There's a place I went years ago called Sotto Sotto about a 10 minute drive from the convention. It runs a little on the expensive side but it's some of the best Italian food I've ever had with a really nice open air courtyard to have your meal in.

There's a decent Pub in Decatur called The Brick Store Pub.   We used to meet a friend over there when we got into town...
May start that tradition again this year, since we're coming in a day earlier.

+1 For the Brick Store
Fat Matt's Rib Shack is supposed to be really good - hoping to give it a try this year.
Grindhouse Burgers is good.
The Nook is also good - they have a super tot menu and who doesn't love Tater Tots!!!!!

If you're going all the way to Decatur, I have to recommend Kimball House if you want to ball hard, Iberian Pig for mind-blowing Spanish food (also ballin pretty hard), Leon's Full Service for cocktails and snacks, and SOS Tiki Bar (only open in the evenings).

If you like BBQ
My Favs, but they are different styles of smoke:
Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q = awesome with great atmosphere, bar, open air patio etc.  I will most definitely be there again this year. :)
**This is a texas style dryrub BBQ joint. **

and Daddy D'z BBQ Joynt is also really good, but a total dive.  **This place uses sauces.**

I would also really suggest Mary Mac's Tea Room which has awesome traditional food and history, and is an Icon in Atlanta.
