Fan Track Tentative Schedules
« on: May 11, 2011, 09:43:07 PM »
Let's keep this thread going and add other tracks as they release their schedules too. If it's anything like last year, you know we won't get the official Pocket Program until a few days before con. I'll update the first post as tracks post their schedules.

The Dragon*Con Wiki has uploaded a grid of the currently available schedules in one convenient page:

I was very surprised to see that one up so early...good for them.

I know a couple of other tracks where I'm usually a panelist are talking about several panel topics but no idea on schedules yet.

Added EFF and Whedonverse. Also decided it's more convenient to keep track of all of them in the first post.

Does anyone know when the full schedule will be released?  I always like to make a spreadsheet with anything I'm interested in doing so that I know what's going on at all times (yes, I'm a dork).

They usually release the full schedule a few weeks before the 'con, which is rapidly approaching!  (holy sh1t!!!)

Last year, I think it was roughly 5 days before the con that the Pocket Program PDF was posted. It'll probably be the same this year, 5-7 days before.

I do the spread sheet thing too! It's scantly filled right now from those above fan track schedules. By the time the Pocket Program is out, I've got color coded things and backup plans on it!!

Last year the PDF version of the Pocket Guide came out late.  As ne0ven0m said it was about 5 days before.  Before 2010 it had been about 8-10 days before if memory serves me correctly.  I was told that last year they had a lot of last minute location changes and guest changes.  No idea how this year will go.  You can be sure that one of us will post about it here on the forums and you can also monitor the Dragon*Con Live Journal because I'm sure it will be posted there within 5 minutes of it appearing on the Dragon*Con website.  :)

Once it does post most of us will be running to our Google Calendars and spreadsheets to start planning things out.  I also really, really hope they will finally offer it in a smartphone format as well.

The American Scifi Media track has some tentative daily schedules posted on their Facebook group...

The track director Kelley said she'll already be revising those in the next couple of days too.

Really?  I don't remember that at all.  I just remember a few people who created Google calendars and such.
