I've barely watched this season but I am excited to learn who our next doctor will be. It seems too soon for Peter C. to be leaving but oh well.

But would either of them want to subject themselves to the grind that is episodic television? On a movie, you work like crazy for six or eight months, then you're done. On tv, you work like crazy for ten days, have three days off, and then start over, for as many episodes as you have.

Eta: i think adrian lester would be cool....

"Am I being tangible? ...Gary?"

"How quickly can we buy this building?"

"More drinking. Less feeling."

I saw a shirt with a sketching of the actress that played Peggy Carter wearing a suit and holding a sonic screwdriver standing outside the TARDIS and I thought, "MY WORD, I can only dream..."

She was in Broadchurch if anyone who has seen it.  (FYI- it is filled with Dr Who alumn) I cringed at first only because here character on Broadchurch annoyed me and it is difficult to not have that picture in my mind since it was my first exposure to her.  I do have to give her the benefit of the doubt, I wasn't sure about Capaldi either.  He turned out to be awesome!

I think that it is a nice change to have a women.  Good on BBC.

I saw both seasons of BC; that's why it's bad i don't remember her.

Well, if netflix can get its grubby little paws on the discs, i'll watch her and see how i like her (months after all of you :) )

I just hope she doesn't play the doctor like the grieving mother she was in Broadchurch.  Looking forward to see how it goes!!!

This confuses me.
Why would Tilda Swinton as a Doctor be gross?
Not that I watch Dr. Who..., but..., She's a great actor, and could probably add a lot to the roll.
