Closing ceremony 2018
« on: September 03, 2018, 04:15:21 PM »
Game panels were very popular; comics artists were happy on the fourth floor; more Thursday stuff next year; count was about the same as last year (80k).

Others are noting the better traffic flow through the convention spaces this year. (I definitely noticed it. )

At one point both americas mart buildings closed for capacity.

Badge pickup Wednesday: maybe some day.

"I like feet."

"Am I being tangible? ...Gary?"

"How quickly can we buy this building?"

"...doors and corners..."

"Whatever just happened, blame it on the pig."

Thanks for the report. They did a great job with traffic flow if we did indeed have the same number of people as last year.

The vendor halls surprised me. I'm used to them being crowded but I don't remember a line circling the block in the afternoon in past years. Maybe I just went at fortunate times in the past?

yep, you lucked out those times.  the problem is that they only open one entrance to the building for badge control. if they would pay for security for another door, it would seriously reduce the line problem.
