Bunny Hutch?
« on: July 01, 2018, 06:07:25 PM »
Hey all! Long, long... very long time no post :)

So I have a bunny "themed" costume this year that I was planning on wearing Thursday night. Is anyone familiar with the Bunny Hutch thing that happens Thursdays? Like, I know nothing other than I see lots of bunnies on Thursdays now. Thoughts?

Also, I have a sad since this will be the first Thursday in YEARS I won't be doing an ABC costume  :(

It started as a bar gathering and has grown to an official event. Last year was the first year my friends and I committed to making bunny costumes (Pizza Bunnies - look for us again this year!), but there was a line to get into the event and we were like, meh, and got drunk at Trader Vics instead. So my only insiders tip is to show up reasonably early to avoid the line!

Unlike miss Lemonade, I showed up pretty late, and there was no line or wait to get in.

I had high hopes for the event, but was fairly disappointed once I got there.  Long lines to the beer vendors and I didn't really dig the vibe.
That may have partially been because I went alone, and kinda got there too late to meet anyone or make any new friends.
So, I think I left prematurely and just partied in the atrium like a pleeb.

Don't forget that there's two bars in the venue. The bar at the back was practically empty. Expect to see lots of zombie Hugh Hefners. Not going as a bunny, but Fantastic Mr Fox might be making an appearance.

The only bar I saw was the one at the back...,
It was pretty packed.

My sister and her friend are jack and Sally bunnies, and I'm going as oogie boogie. Any suggestions for an oogie boogie hef?

I have wandered in and out of the Bunny Hutch (usually late) but never stayed.  and never gone with a group, at least not on purpose.

What does one wear as a guy to the Bunny Hutch?

It's all the way over at the Sheraton isn't it?

Last year it was in the Hilton.

I have never been. Maybe I'll finally check it out this year.   I actually want to go see the mermaids this year too, if they have a gathering.
Two things I've never done.

Hoping to check out events I've never partaken in.  The list gets shorter each year.
