Cool Gallifrey. I'm willing to learn new games, but I'm not really into learning new RPGs at the con. I think learning new board games would be simpler since I'll probably be (gasp) enjoying adult beverages! Anyway, I'll probably bring Tannhauser, it's a combat-oriented board game in which you move around great pre-painted miniatures, and features great art. Its pretty easy to pick up. Interested in that?

Hey Adam!

I'm game! (pardon the pun)

Anywho, is there anything I need to get/bring? shoot me an e-mail (shannon.l.lewis(at)gmail(dot)com.

Thanks!

Zaeus and Galifrey: This is not a complicated game. I will provide the game, and you guys won't have to bring anything. I will arrange a four-player game including the two of you, myself, and one other undetermined-as-of-now person.

Will it be worth your time? Well, if you like the aspect of meeting new people and learning a new game, yes. Wether you like or dislike the game, it will be a learning experience, and if anyone talks about the game in the future, you will have some input. Perhaps you will want to buy the game for yourself sometime. The base game is $70 retail, and there are several expansions available. It is just a boardgame, so don't expect anything extravagant. Since the game goes fairly quick, I imagine we will be playing about two games, maybe more, depending on how much fun you are having.

I will make another post soon, followed by e-mails if you two are still interested. Thanks for the replies! Can't wait for the con!

Sounds great! E-mail is still going to be the best way to get a hold of me.

Very excited!

Here are the time slots in which I am available:

Saturday 6pm-8pm

Sunday 1pm-5pm

The two of you should agree on one of these slots, and then we'll try to recruit another person, so that we'll have four players. Are you two available for one of these? If not, perhaps I can work something out with my scheduale.

I won't know my schedule until tomorrow.

As soon as I find out whether or not I'll be able to come by and play, I'll post a confirmation here.

I really hope that I can find a way to make it, but I can't make any promises.

Great! I'm so glad you said that, that's the best time for me too! Now to wait for a response from Zaeus. Arangatangs sometimes take their sweet time responding because they are so arogant.

Well, this primate's got to bail on you at the last minute because of a scheduling problem.

You might have noticed, from other posts that I've made on the forum, that I'm a huge Mystery Science Theater 3000 fan...  There's an event in the Sheraton at 1:00pm on Sunday (Crow vs. Crow) and at the Marriott at 2:30pm (Tribute to Forrest Ackerman) that I simply cannot miss.

I hope that you guys have fun gaming, and maybe next year I'll have time to come by and enjoy it with you, but it looks like this year's a wash.

Thanks, and I look forward to seeing you elsewhere at the con.

Ah that's cool, at least you tried. Maybe I'll see you there. I'll be wearing one of my custom airbrush shirts. (really.)
