@girlaskew....I go back and forth on whether or not Mallrats is my favorite...."What? Like the back of a Volkswagen?"

I don't know if it is my favorite. It may be quoted the most. I can say my favorite is not Clerks 2. Anything else is undecided. Have you heard the tale of Clerks 3? It's written.

It's my favorite Kevin Smith movie for sure.  Love that one.   I've read that Clerks 3 has been written, and I have read that it will be Kevin Smith's last film. He is going to retire (must be nice).  I hope he goes out with a great film.
Ya know Jason Mewes has been known to do conventions. I wonder why he never attended DragonCon? He would make a great guest. I saw Brian O'Halloran last year at a local horror convention. He has been involved in that genre lately, so I bet they could get him too. Would be a great panel.

I really like Chasing Amy as well....I haven't heard anything about Clerks 3...I thought Clerks 2 was okay. I'd like to see Brian Ohalloran or Mewes or Smith make D*C.

If I am quoting Chasing Amy it is generally to make someone with a stick up their bum uncomfortable. I love it so and am grateful to have such an arsenal of humor in my back pocket.

Kevin Smith said a hockey movie called Hit Something was meant to be his last movie. Then he wrote Clerks 3 on 4/20 in a marijuana induced bout of inspiration and decided to that that THEN Hit Something. That is the last I heard from a podcast last week. He has been less than consistent.

The irony is he has only been smoking weed for the last 3 or so years.

The guest list still feels kinda light compared to previous years.  Even with the recent additions.

Granted, we still have a lot of time for guests to be announced.  I'm getting worried though  :-\

To be fair, D*C has made some notable guest additions in the past few weeks, but unfortunately, there are still few guests on the list in which I have any real interest. So few, in fact, that I am seriously considering bailing on this year's con, despite already having my membership and hotel reservation.

Again, the recently added DS9 guests are indeed significant, but in the way of Trek guests, I personally would rather see more Voyager guests that haven't been to D*C in recent years, if ever...  I would also like to see Walter Koenig, which brings me to my next point...

I am absolutely dumbfounded that D*C has NO Babylon 5 guests given that this year marks B5's 20th Anniversary. It perplexes me because D*C has had some terrific B5 panels in years past.

Also, I still would like to see Ben Browder and Claudia Black to compliment the rest of the Farscape guests on the list. The last time they were at D*C was 2010...

DS9 was my favorite Trek show...I've never met Farrell, so I'm good with this.

Don't bail on D*C Dan. Alot more to Con than the guests! Have faith dude ;).
