Hello.

My name is Asreial and my best friend and I will be attending the Con this year.
We would love to be at the meet and greet if that is ok with others. :)

On another note, I am sorry to hear about your loss, Muerandah.

Muerandah, I don't think there is anything that can describe the loss of a family member, I hope you are all coping.  Please let us know if there is anything we can do.

The party is looking good.  ;)

Hot dogs, dip and chips, etc.

Basic booze for the old folks. ;D  There's a soda machine right around the corner but we will have basic mixers.

Wear your favorite costume or come casual. Bama and VT fans are encouraged to wear their colors.  :)

Oh about Gator fans? Are we invited too? (of course I'd be in costume not in school colors)

Since you are now paying your coach more than we are paying ours I will make a special exception for you and any Gator fan you bring. Be it known though, that any Gator fan that "cheers" a good VT play will be thrashed about the the head and shoulders with a chess board, even if the chess game is in progress.
 :)

And please don't bring any Gatorade based drinks. They will be laced with Tide detergent on arrival.

That's okay. I can't drink Gatorade anyway (I can't have sugar).

Yes please do. I didn't mean any offense on the Gatorade comment.
 ;D

It looks like we will have about a dozen folks Saturday night. Possibly 25% will be interested in watching the football game. There's plenty of room but when the game is on there won't be any music around the game TV. There are lots of other spots that music can be played or conversations made: balconies, bar, dinning table, etc.

No offense taken. Gators usually play an off team then so we pay more attention to the con, and since I have about 10 costumes this year, I should wear one of those (funny thing is most of them are red).

And I'd rather hear an SEC game than music... but that's just me.  ;)

And I think it will be great just to meet everyone in person.
