When I go to the Hyatt regular page, not using the passkey thing, and put in the date range for next year's con, I'm getting rooms to show up for as low as $149 a night for the small queen rooms and $169 for the standard rooms.

Is this the wrong hotel? Or do they not honor reservations made this way?

When entering in DC's dates next year I get this message
[[Customer Service
The hotel is not available for your requested travel dates. It is either sold out or not yet open for reservations. Go back ]]

That seems crazy to me. How can I see one thing and you both see something else? I even cleared my cache thinking I was doing something wrong.

I've put in:
4 Nights : Thu Aug 27 - Mon Aug 31

and

Thursday 27 August 2015 through Sunday 30 August 2015
( 3 Nights )

And it pulls them both right up. I put in one room/one guess and no special rates or anything. I'm not signed in to the website or a member of the Hyatt passport club.

Since it seems to not be working for anyone else, I think I will avoid it like the plague. I'd rather not get my reservation lost in the nether. Knew it was too good to be true! Thanks for testing it though.

That explains so much!!! *hugs* Well, I'm glad I was too paranoid to go for it. As much as I like Atlanta, I'd have been more than a little disappointed to be there without dcon!

Heee hee..I did the same thing last month when checking for next year.  Even went so far as to book and then cancel a room on Expedia. Yep, CON is late!

I did the same thing with the Hilton a few days ago. Don't feel bad. The late date is throwing everyone off....
