F.A.Q.: Language and the forum
« on: July 20, 2014, 10:34:08 PM »
I had a good question about language use on the forum (specifically cussing).

Here's the deal:

Please keep the language and content in public sections of the board PG.  These sections of the board can be read by anyone on the internet.

Please keep the language and content in the 'members only' sections of the board PG-13.  You can tell these boards, as they are in the 'Members Only' Section.

If you would like to express your potty mouth/ evil/ dirty thoughts... as long as it is not illegal... please put it in the 'Mature Members' section of the board. You will be able to see this when you are a 'Jr. Member' (50 posts), but if you really really want to post here before you are at 50 posts, PM me and I'll get you special access here.

Do you mind self-censoring? (IE: bleeping yourself, or just avoid wordy dirts all together?)

At least my father in law doesn't know how to use computers and is on the forums. He would not comply with this.

Fracking only counts as a curse word if you are talking about extracting natural gas from the ground.  Let's keep these boards a happy place.

This thread is reminding me of the made for TV version of Snakes on a Plane.

"I'm tired of these monkey fighting snakes on this Monday to Friday plane!"

For a while, me and my roommates went around calling each other monkey fighters.
