2015 Dragoncon Group Costume - Firefly

I am going to consolidate the DCF Firefly post and get all the relevant information in this main post from the other thread so we can easily and quickly see where we stand. Also I made it sticky so it is easy to find.
Archer was last year and everyone loved it so much we wanted to do something like that again when Jojo, our wonderful Browncoat, suggested a DCF Firefly group for this year.

Here was the original list of people picking characters:

Jojo- Mal or Simon ( I'm flexible)
Vay- River
Kpk- Inara (spelling)
Death rabbit -mal
Stardust- kaylee
Still need a Walsh, Zoe, shepherd, Jayne.

I feel this list is out of date. If you need to change or want to claim a character just post here

Hey!  This would be super fun, although I have not wrapped my brain around costumes AT ALL yet.  Life is giving me the fits.

I'm 95% sure I'll still do Inara - just have to try to find reasonable material. I may just commission it though.

I'll be Jayne (from The Message opening). Will have Mal available as a backup costume.
Will also bring a camera (2D / 3D).
